Q. Is PITPS part of the Pender Islands Conservancy Association, PICA?

A. PITPS and PICA are independent organizations. Most members of PITPS are members of PICA.

Q. Why have two separate organizations?

A. The objectives of PITPS and PICA are similar. PITPS has focussed on Trust related activities while PICA has focussed directly on education, land acquisition, protective covenants and restoration.

Q. Is PITPS part of the Gulf Islands Alliance?

A. They are independent organizations. PITPS focuses on Pender Island while GIA is concerned with the whole Trust area.

Q. How can I become a member of PITPS?

A. Speak to any member.
